I am still learning to cook and make edible creations at my tender age of 60ish next month. I make bolognèse with lean ground meat every Friday now. I was never allowed in Dennis’s kitchen while cooking for the family. Then I kept watching him from the cheap seats at the kitchen table, make this fabulous Italian dish for us every Friday and it was time-consuming. It was taking him away from his work in the home office. I just wrote the recipe down and asked if I could try it in the meal prep not just clean up. After many months, he relented and gave me the chopping block and sharpened knives, hovering over me while checking every chop or measurement I was making. I guess I passed as I am now his Sóus Chef along with all the accoutrements, to his Chef!
